SMARTSURFACE®
Technology for
superior lens-surface
moisture stability6-9*

In in vitro studies, PRECISION1® contact lenses demonstrated superior lens-surface moisture stability vs INFUSE^, ACUVUE^ OASYS 1-DAY, Biotrue^ ONEday, 1-DAY ACUVUE^ MOIST, clariti^ 1 day and MyDay^ contact lenses.6-9*

*Based on in vitro studies wherein wettability was meastured using the iDDrop System.
All lenses were tested in an identical manner, soaked in a PBS (phosphate-buffered saline solution) for 16 hours +/- 2 hours (p<0.001).

A lens that can help new wearers transform into lifetime wearers

Precision1 delivery comparision chart

*Based on the mean subjective ratings on a scale of 1 (Poor) to 10 (Excellent) for overall vision, overall comfort and overall handling in subjects wearing PRECISION1® contact lenses from a clinical study, measured at three-month follow-up visit; n=105.

In a separate clinical study, PRECISION1® provided outstanding comfort even at 16 Hours Graphic

Wearers rated PRECISION1® higher
than 1-DAY ACUVUE^ MOIST12

Precision1 delivery comparision chart

*Based on mean subjective ratings on a scale of 1 (Poor) to 10 (Excellent), from a prospective, randomized, bilateral crossover, double-masked, controlled clinical trial of PRECISION1® and 1-DAY ACUVUE^ MOIST contact lenses; p<0.0001; n=92.

Nearly 5x more wearers “strongly preferred”

Base Curve (mm)
8.3
Base curve optimization is influenced by:
  • Lens diameter
  • Modulus
  • Other material characteristics
The 8.3 mm base curve for PRECISION1® was chosen through carefully conducted clinical testing using a range of base curves on a range of corneal curvatures.
In a clinical study, 100% of eyes wearing the 8.3 mm base curve achieved an acceptable fit.1,2
  • 138 eyes (n=69)
  • Corneal curvatures ranged from 36.75D to 48.25D, which covers the normal range of a soft contact lens wearer1,2

*UV‑blocking contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV‑blocking eyewear such as UV‑blocking goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area.
