Trifocal Intraocular Lenses 

    Clareon® PanOptix® Pro incorporates ENLIGHTEN® NXT Optical Technology, designed to deliver 94% light utilization¹ and reduced light scatter compared to the prior platform². The trifocal focal distribution remains consistent while optical efficiency is optimized. 

    Clareon® PanOptix® Pro incorporates ENLIGHTEN® NXT Optical Technology designed to optimize light transmission through the diffractive optic, resulting in 94% total light utilization¹ and reduced light scatter compared to the prior platform². 
    Lower light scatter may contribute to improved retinal image quality and enhanced contrast performance³, which are clinically relevant considerations in trifocal IOL selection. 

    As with trifocal IOLs, patients may report visual phenomena such as halos or glare, particularly in low-light conditions. Clareon® PanOptix® Pro is designed to help minimize visual disturbances² and is designed to improve the image contrast compared to the prior platform1
    Appropriate patient selection and expectation setting remain essential, and published clinical outcomes for the PanOptix® platform support high levels of patient satisfaction in appropriately selected patients⁴.

    These improvements are associated with optimized light distribution and reduced light scatter within the diffractive optic.16 Contrast performance is a key consideration when evaluating trifocal IOLs, particularly in mesopic conditions.
